The energy of Porto met the passion of travel at ITQ 2025 — a weekend full of learning, networking, and inspiration for travel professionals worldwide.
✈️ Getting There with EasyJet from Luton

Flying from Luton Airport with EasyJet was the perfect start — efficient boarding, friendly service, and a smooth, on-time flight. While simple and budget-friendly, EasyJet once again proved reliable and professional — exactly what you want before an event-packed weekend.
Arriving in Porto, I was immediately struck by the city’s vibrant charm — the ideal host for an event celebrating innovation and connection in travel.
🏨 Staying at Boavista Guesthouse, Porto
My stay at the Boavista Guesthouse couldn’t have been more pleasant. Located in the heart of the city, it offered comfort, convenience, and that warm Portuguese hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home.

The single room was clean and cozy, with all the essentials for a business trip. Breakfast was included — a lovely selection of pastries, fruit, and local specialties that kept me fuelled for conference days ahead. The staff were welcoming and very friendly.
Conference Highlights: Learning, Leadership & Community

ITQ 2025 was an incredible showcase of innovation, education, and the human side of the travel industry.
Hearing from James Ferrara, CEO of InteleTravel, was especially inspiring — his vision for empowering independent agents and embracing technology reflected the dynamic future of our sector.
Sessions from Tricia Handley-Hughes and Debbee Dale were equally impactful, offering practical insights and genuine encouragement to agents and partners alike.
The conference was a powerful reminder that community and collaboration remain at the core of travel — no algorithm can replace authentic connection.

🍸 A Night to Remember: Drinks Reception at Palácio da Bolsa
The Drinks Reception at Porto’s stunning Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace) was an absolute highlight. This 19th-century architectural masterpiece — with its ornate Arab Room and historical grandeur — created an unforgettable backdrop for an evening of networking, laughter, and meaningful conversations.
It was the perfect blend of elegance and camaraderie that defined every ITQ event.
❌ Missing the Gala (But Not the Spirit!)
Due to work commitments, I couldn’t attend the Gala this time — but if the buzz from colleagues is anything to go by, it was another magical ITQ moment. There’s always next year, and I’m already counting down!
🌍 Looking Ahead: ITQ 2026 → Krakow!

Exciting news — ITQ 2026 will take place in Krakow, Poland! With its rich culture, stunning old town, and thriving travel scene, Krakow promises to raise the bar even higher.
If ITQ 2025 in Porto was about reconnection and progress, ITQ 2026 is sure to be about momentum and transformation.
